Comfort first - I love NAOT and own several pair. I have plantar fasciitis and have to have substantial arch support in every pair I wear. This open toe sandal has that. The sandals are very comfortable. One down side - they are slightly on the heavy side - the heel looks bulky. The straps provide nice style accent, but can become torture if you feet get swollen in the summer. Mine do, so I had blood circulation cutting off, not completely, but painful...My hope, the straps will stretch with time.
