Ankle biter - The outside of this shoe by the ankle is too high and slices into feet after prolonged wearage. None of the other Doc Marten Mary Janes that I own do this including the pair I am wearing as I write this review. I do like the look of the shoe enough to buy inserts to help correct this problem. Very cool cute shoes but it makes you wonder if the designers ever tried them out on human feet before putting them in stores.
